Sandy Butler is owned by a local family (The Scholl's) who enjoy the fresh southwest Florida lifestyle. There are six family members involved in this fresh concept. These six members and you are Sandy Butler.
The business naturalist. Tom is the businessman in the family. As a college man, Tom had a decision to make: would he pursue a career in business or forestry? His decision has led him to be featured on Squawk Box and Hannity & Colmes. Although his education led him to a career in commodities, his love of nature has never ceased. His orange grove in Alva provides The Sandy Butler Market with fresthly squeezed juice and other fresh citrus. Even though he'll have the chef add ketchup to spaghetti sauce somehow he always manages to be ahead of the trends when it comes to comfort foods. Pickles anyone?
Simple and approachable. There is nothing pretentious about Maggie but her taste is impeccable. Her welcoming smile, charming tendencies and keen sense of style make her the perfect dinner companion. When you're dining with Maggie you may want to let her order for you. Chances are she'll pick the winning dishes before they're noted as the house specialties. And, no she won't be one of the judges for Top Chef...that's just way too mean.
Entertainer. Loves a laugh. And while she doesn't take food too seriously, she loves to throw a party for a friend and knows that good food and good times go hand in hand. Trying to be creative is part of the fun of entertaining and seeing people's joyous reactions to her sway of creativeness gives her the most delight. Jamie loves parties, gift giving, and shortcuts that don't cut out all the best stuff.
Wine enthusiast. Epicurean writer. Jason is the type of person who can make anyone feel comfortable. His attention to details enables him to identify qualities of food and wine, and his educational background in English makes his transition from food snob to friend an easy fit. Jason loves to travel and finds delicious morsels from all over the world to share with his Southwest Florida patrons.
Tony is a risk taker and he will try anything once. His taste buds beg for delicious new adventures. He's always ready to lead the way whether its on a motorcycle, jet skiing, diving or dining. Tony is well rounded like the perfect meal. If you dine at Shoals you'll see his original artwork. It's the only piece in black and white.
A straight shooter. Brian knows that quality can not be faked. His career as buyer and number cruncher at TSB has taught him that. He really pours himself into the job and is The Sandy Butler's go-to guy for anything computer related. After a long day at work he enjoys dinner with friends and going home to his fiance. Brian is a great carpenter and you may see some of his work at the market. So if you're the type of person who forgoes the fluff, you and Brian will get along just fine.
